If we can lift a state highway, we can certainly lift your sunken slab.

What is Concrete Raising?

Concrete raising is the ability to raise sunken slabs.
By filling the voids underneath the slabs with a self-leveling grout.
The grout is pumped in with our specialized equipment.
This allows us to raise the slab to the desired height.

How is the Process Performed?

Concrete Raising (aka: Mud Jacking) is a 3 Step Process.

Step 1: A pattern of 1-5/8” holes are drilled through the sunken slab.
Step 2: An environmentally safe grout mixture is pumped under the slab with our specialized
equipment. Once a void is filled, the grout becomes pressurized and hydraulically
raises the slab to the desired height.
Step 3: Finally, the holes are patched using grout.

Benefits of Concrete Raising

Concrete raising typically costs about half as much as new concrete replacement.
Concrete raising effectively lifts driveways, porches, sidewalks, floors, patios and more.
The entire process is normally finished in one day.
You’ll notice also that concrete raising is less destructive to the surrounding areas.
Typically no landscaping repairs are needed.

What Can be Raised?

Sidewalks, Driveways, Patios, Landings, Streets, even Curbs, Basically just about any
sunken slab weather outside or inside. Ask your consultant in Chicago or Arlington Heights for details.
