The selected person will be supported with a 90-day immersion business training program taking place in Dallas, Texas, and Ada, Oklahoma.

Core responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the selected person, as a leader and manager of a Ram Jack franchise, includes the implementation of all business facets through training and supported by ongoing corporate coaching, as such is responsible for the following:

  • Performing all duties required to successfully operate a Ram Jack business, such as: sales, product installation, and possibly construction, including administrative functions, such as accounts payable, basic payroll, and human resources.
  • Managing the overall operational, budgetary, and financial processes of the franchise, ensuring the required financial performance is achieved as set out in the company business plan, with ability to proactively take appropriate and corrective action if business goals are not achieved while informing and coordinating with the Corporate Chief Financial Officer.
  • Proactively reviewing and sharing with Corporate headquarters performance data that includes financial, sales, and operations to monitor and measure productivity and overall effectiveness as planned and as required on business key performance indicators.
  • Becoming the primary liaison between the operation and Corporate divisions such as Engineering, Financial, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to prevent, mitigate, or address functional issues.
  • Overseeing franchise warranty and insurance policies, as well as state permitting regulation requirements.

Requirements:

  • Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree required. Preferred business degree with a concentration in management.
  • Experience level: A minimum of three years of proven successful management and/or supervisory responsibilities. Preferred five years’ experience in direct leadership and management. Construction business background is desirable.

Position Description:

The controller position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
  • Manage outsourced functions

Transaction Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner

Position Description:

The crew chief oversees the daily construction activities at the work site and is responsible for the overall progress of the project, as well as, the scheduling of workers and the delivery of equipment and materials. He/she will also work to complete the project within the given timeframe and budget, resolve contract disputes, and arrange any necessary order changes. As the crew chief, you are the project manager and responsible for the communication and satisfaction of the homeowner, the job, the financial results, the crew, the equipment, the truck, and the presentation of Ram Jack and our services. A large part of this position will involve dealing with people and the need to be a champion of ongoing communication, motivation of others, and coordination.

Job Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for specific geographical locations within the day-to-day field production operations, as well as, your site’s equipment and crew movement.
  • You will complete the necessary paperwork for each job, lead the conclusion for complex problems, and coordinate problem-solving for your crew.
  • You will enforce and report any quality control issues, handle any employee write-ups, and conduct safety toolbox training.

Day-to-Day Operations:

  • Check on all projects during the day or week as the landscape permits.
  • Coordinate workload of crews, prioritize job assignments, and generate records, reports, and activities to the Production Manager.

Objectives of this Role

  • Collaborate with the business team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally at the corporate and franchise levels.
  • Oversee and grow the marketing department, consistently identifying revenue opportunities within our established client base and managing consistent growth by helping create a paid-services model for marketing activities.
  • Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations.

Position Description:

The warehouse/equipment manager is responsible for ensuring that all warehouse operations are fully functional. Duties include, but are not limited to, planning, organizing, and managing the operation of loading and unloading crew trucks and trailers, assisting in inventory control of all maintained items received in and loaded out, managing the warehouse crew, and having mechanical knowledge and know-how when it comes to small engines, hydraulic repairs, and fabricating. Supervision Received and Exercised:

General direction is provided by the Production Manager, Operations, and Maintenance.

Essential Job Functions:

  • You are responsible for preparing the tools, materials, documentation, etc. that are needed to perform the individual projects laid out in the job folder created by the Operations Team for each individual project.
  • You are responsible for unloading and loading each crew’s truck and/or trailer as they return from a job each day in preparation for the next day’s job.
    • Cleaning, inspections, maintenance, etc. all need to be conducted before loading the crew’s tools and materials for the next shift/job.
  • Keeping up with scheduled jobs and making sure material is in place
  • You need to be able to perform small engine and hydraulic repairs and be able to service them as well.
    • Flush hydraulic systems and return with new systems, oil changes, etc.
  • You will need to have some welding experience and be able to fabricate if needed.
  • Must have some personal management skills as well as computer skills.

Day-to-Day Operations:

  • Report to work each day and receive job folders for the day, along with broken equipment and tools reports from each truck.
  • Replace any equipment and tools needed for the following day.
  • Unload any returning materials and debris.
  • Fuel truck, check oil and tires, etc. to ensure its readiness for the next day.
  • Complete Return Sheet and add it to the job folder along with completing the Pick Sheet to load out the following day’s materials and consumables needed.

Duties include, but are not limited to, planning, organizing, and managing the operation of loading and unloading crew trucks and trailers, assisting in inventory control of all maintained items received in and loaded out, managing the warehouse crew, and having mechanical knowledge and know-how when it comes to small engines, hydraulic repairs, and fabricating.

Supervision Received and Exercised:

General direction is provided by the Production Manager, Operations, and Maintenance.

Essential Job Functions:

  • You will come in after hours and are responsible for preparing the tools, materials, documentation, etc. that are needed to perform the individual projects laid out in the job folder created by the Operations Team for each individual project.
  • You are responsible for unloading and loading each crew’s truck and/or trailer as they return from a job each day in preparation for the next day’s job. Cleaning, inspections, maintenance, etc. all need to be conducted before loading the crew’s tools and materials for the next shift/job.
  • You need to be able to perform small engine and hydraulic repairs and be able to service them as well.
    • Flush hydraulic systems and return with new systems, oil changes, etc.
  • You will need to have some welding experience and be able to fabricate if needed.

Day-to-Day Operations:

  • Report to work each day and receive job folders for the day, along with broken equipment and tools reports from each truck.
  • Replace any equipment and tools needed for the following day.
  • Unload any returning materials and debris.
  • Fuel truck, check oil and tires, etc. to ensure its readiness for the next day.
  • Complete Return Sheet and add it to the job folder along with completing the Pick Sheet to load out the following day’s materials and consumables needed.
  • Truck is parked with job folder left ready to go for the Crew Chief.

Additional Duties:

  • Inventory Control
  • Organization of the shop and maintain paperwork
  • Operate a Forklift
  • Mechanical knowledge for small engine repair; Minor hydraulic repair and replacement
  • Pre-stage for the following night

Training:

This job has a training requirement that may require some travel and will teach basic hydraulics, welding, mechanical knowledge, and computer skills, if needed. You will be required to do minor repairs on some small equipment and maintain the facilities warehouse.
